Eligible are 1st–4th year AVMA-accredited students. Externs gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, multi-doctor small animal practice, with opportunities in preventative care, surgery, dentistry, and diagnostics.

DVM Student Externship - Westport Animal Clinic

• Intern
• Compensation: up to USD 15 - hourly

Westport Animal Clinic is a well-established, progressive, fast paced multi-doctor small animal practice located in Topeka, Kansas. We offer many services to provide the best comprehensive care to our patients including Preventative Care, Surgery, High Speed Dentistry, Cold Laser Therapy, In-House Diagnostics, Digital full body radiology, Medical/Vacation Boarding and Pet Bathing.

Westport Animal Hospital is located in Topeka, Kansas. Topeka is the capital of the state and there are many museums, parks, gardens and a performing arts center and zoo to enjoy. The proximity to Kansas City allows for a easy commute to the international airport. Topeka public schools are well regarded, making it an ideal area to raise a family!
