North Main Animal Clinic is proud to serve Dayton, OH and the surrounding area. We are a group of highly trained and experienced animal lovers who are devoted to giving our patients the best care possible.

Besides dogs and cats, we see exotics including reptiles, small mammals/pocket pets/furbearing animals, and birds. We have a passion for diagnostics and surgery, and regularly utilize laser therapy and ultrasound in our treatment plans.

Position Purpose

Come extern with us! Heartland Veterinary Partners' Externship Program works to provide 1st-4th year veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship to help them be 'practice ready' by their first day in practice.

Externships are typically 2 weeks long, and Heartland will cover the cost of lodging if needed. The length of the externship is flexible, and we can support your preceptorship documentation as well.

Requirements/Qualifications

Eligibility

1. Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA Accredited Veterinary School.
2. Must be able to provide student PLIT.
