Animal Emergency Clinic of Springfield is offering a DVM Student Externship for active veterinary students seeking hands-on experience in emergency medicine. This externship provides paid hours, 1:1 mentorship, and opportunities aligned with future veterinary careers within Alliance Animal Health.

Eligible students must be enrolled in an AVMA-accredited program (1st–4th year) and demonstrate professionalism, strong communication, and teamwork in a fast-paced clinical setting.

• Active AVMA-accredited veterinary student required.
• Must be currently enrolled in 1st–4th year of veterinary school.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn in an emergency clinical setting.

DVM Student Externship - Animal Emergency Clinic of Springfield

• Compensation: up to USD 18 - hourly

Our hospital is fully equipped to support rapid diagnostics, critical care, and emergency surgical intervention, giving you the tools you need to practice high-level medicine with confidence.

• Fully equipped surgical suite with Cardell monitoring, electrocautery, and cold laser
• IDEXX in-house laboratory (ProCyte, Catalyst Dx, Sedivue, InVue, coagulation analyzer, digital cytology)
