Job summary

Alliance Animal Health's Priority Pet Urgent Care of Watkinsville is open to provide urgent care for pets seven days a week from 4pm to midnight. This site offers real-world experience in a fast-paced urgent care with quality mentorship and a varied caseload for veterinary students.

We invite active AVMA-accredited veterinary students (1st–4th year) to apply for externships, featuring flexible scheduling, paid extern hours, future employment preferences, and 1:1 guidance from mentors.

Qualifications

• Must be an Active Veterinary Student from an AVMA Accredited Institution.

Responsibilities

• Observe and assist in urgent care cases under supervision.
• Document medical records and communicate with the care team.

Pet accidents, illnesses, and injuries are all unfortunate and seem to always happen at the worst of times when primary care veterinarians are either closed or too busy to see the pet. For these reasons, we are excited to announce thatour new Priority Pet Urgent Care of Watkinsville is now open! We are available for urgent care pet needs 7 days a week, 4pm – 12am midnight.

Our new building and state of the art equipment will provide our teams the space and tools they’ll need to deliver the best in service and medicine for our community! With quality mentorship and a varied caseload, students will get to experience life in an active Urgent Care with real life application.
