Practice:

Green Oaks North Pet Hospital is a fully equipped veterinary hospital providing both routine and major surgeries, pet dentistry, radiography, and diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of illnesses. In addition, Green Oaks North Pet Hospital has a full, on-site laboratory to aid in providing prompt diagnosis and treatment and a boarding facility.

Green Oaks North Pet Hospital is a member of the American Animal Hospital Association. We strive to deliver high-quality veterinary care as well as uphold certain standards and levels of service.

Position Purpose:

Heartland Veterinary Partners' Externship Program works to provide 1st-4th year veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship to help have them 'practice ready' by their first day in practice.

Externships are typically 2 weeks long, and Heartland will cover the cost of lodging if needed.

The length of the externship is flexible, and we can support your preceptorship documentation as well.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Eligibility

1. Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA Accredited Veterinary School.
2. Must be able to provide student PLIT.
