Practice:

At Los Caballos Veterinary Clinic, we provide high-quality care in a practical, clean environment for large animals and small animals. Since our founding in 1973, Los Caballos Veterinary Clinic has continued to grow and expand our services throughout San Angelo and surrounding areas.

We provide the best veterinary care through the use of modern technology in diagnostics, medical therapies, surgical procedures, and preventative health care.

Position Purpose:

Come extern with us! Heartland Veterinary Partners' Externship Program works to provide 1st-4th year veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship to help them be 'practice ready' by their first day in practice.

Externships are typically 2 weeks long, and Heartland will cover the cost of lodging if needed. Length of externship is flexible, and we can support your preceptorship documentation as well.
