Job summary

Rockmart Animal Hospital in Rockmart, GA is offering a veterinary student externship for 1st–4th year students from AVMA-accredited programs. The externship provides flexible scheduling, paid externship hours, and potential future employment opportunities.

Externs will gain real-world experience alongside our small animal general practice clinicians, with mentorship and guidance throughout the rotation.

• Active veterinary student from an AVMA-accredited institution.
• Open to gaining hands-on externship experience.

Responsibilities

• Participate in clinical externship experiences to support the veterinary team.
• Assist with routine tasks and observe procedural care.
• Gain exposure to wellness, preventative care, and general veterinary practice.
• Receive one-on-one mentorship and guidance during externship.
