Practice

Cobblestone Veterinary Hospital is a beautiful, spacious clinic located in Nixa, just south of Springfield. Our philosophy has always been focused on delivering the best in veterinary medicine and surgery at a reasonable price while establishing long-term relationships with our clients. We have been serving the Nixa and surrounding communities since 1997 and continue to see many of our original clients from our grand opening.

Position Purpose

Come extern with us! Heartland Veterinary Partners' Externship Program provides 1st-4th year veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship to help them become 'practice ready' by their first day in practice.

Externships are typically 2 weeks long, and Heartland will cover the cost of lodging if needed. The length of the externship is flexible, and we can support your preceptorship documentation as well.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA Accredited Veterinary School
• Must be able to provide student PLIT
