Practice:

Opened in April of 2017, Cielo Grande Veterinary Center is proud to serve the Roswell, NM area for everything pet-related. We have a fantastic staff with decades of animal experience and we have a well-equipped building so we can accommodate appointments and walk-ins Monday through Friday. Cielo Grande Veterinary Center is the highest-rated veterinary hospital in Chaves County!

We primarily focus on companion animals, but won’t turn away an animal in need. In order to serve our community, we take scheduled wellness and sick appointments while also always making urgent care services available. Our doctors are supported by a remarkable team of experienced veterinary technicians and client service representatives.

Heartland Veterinary Partners' Externship Program works to provide 1st-4th year veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship to help have them 'practice ready' by their first day in practice.

Externships are typically 2 weeks long and Heartland will cover the cost of lodging if needed.

Length of externship is flexible & we can support your preceptorship documentation as well.
