Practice:

At Germantown Hills Animal Hospital, we pride ourselves on being an AAHA accredited veterinary practice and having been awarded Feline-Friendly Silver Status by the American Association of Feline Practitioners.

We are a fully equipped practice offering many services, including wellness care, surgery, in-house laboratory, dental care, and Cardiopet ECG. Scheduling is flexible with weekend rotations and an after-hours ER clinic.

Heartland Veterinary Partners' Externship Program works to provide 1st-4th year veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship to help them be 'practice ready' by their first day in practice.

Externships are typically 2 weeks long, and Heartland will cover the cost of lodging if needed. Length of externship is flexible, and we can support your preceptorship documentation as well.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Eligibility

Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA Accredited Veterinary School.

Must be able to provide student PLIT.
