Position Purpose

Come extern with us! Heartland Veterinary Partners' Externship Program aims to provide veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship to help them become 'practice ready' by their first day in practice.

Externships typically last 2 weeks, and Heartland will cover lodging costs if needed. The length of the externship is flexible, and we can support your preceptorship documentation as well.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA Accredited Veterinary School
• Must be able to provide student PLIT
