Fulton Animal Hospital is a full-service, small animal veterinary hospital serving Canal Fulton and neighboring communities since 1956. Our hospital provides services for cats, dogs, chickens, sheep, and goats. We offer preventative care, health certificates, surgery, dentistry, X-ray, ultrasound, and laser therapy.

Over the years, our hospital has grown into a multiple-doctor practice, dedicated to offering the most up-to-date medical treatments while maintaining our hometown feel. Our skilled staff proudly serve our clients and their pets.

Position Purpose

Come extern with us! Heartland Veterinary Partners' Externship Program provides veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship to help them become 'practice ready' by their first day in practice.

Externships are typically 2 weeks long, and Heartland will cover lodging costs if needed. The length of the externship is flexible, and we can support your preceptorship documentation as well.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA Accredited Veterinary School
• Must be able to provide student PLIT
