A respected partner hospital in Valdosta, GA, is actively seeking a Lead Veterinarian to join their thriving practice. This is a fantastic opportunity for a DVM who thrives in leadership and values both high-quality medicine and team development.
Deliver exceptional veterinary care including diagnostics, treatment, and surgery
Lead and mentor a team of veterinarians and support staff, fostering a collaborative culture
Oversee daily clinic operations such as scheduling, workflow, and inventory
Ensure compliance with medical standards, protocols, and legal requirements
Cultivate strong relationships with clients through excellent communication and education
Collaborate with the Practice Manager to continuously improve operations and service
Support ongoing staff development through hands-on training and mentorship
DVM/VMD from an AVMA-accredited college (or completion of ECFVG or PAVE)
Active veterinary license (or ability to obtain) in Georgia
5+ years of clinical experience, with a strong foundation in small animal medicine
Proven leadership and organizational skills
Commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality care
Strong interpersonal and team-building abilities
