A partner hospital in Mobile, AL, is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their collaborative, multi-doctor practice. This clinic offers the unique opportunity to work with small animals and exotics, utilizing advanced equipment such as ultrasound and digital dental radiographs. With a flexible schedule and no weekends required, this position allows for an excellent work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests on animals
  • Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and health concerns in a variety of species
  • Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans tailored to patients’ needs
  • Perform surgeries and dental procedures with the support of a dedicated team
  • Maintain patient records and provide client education on pet care
  • Build strong relationships with clients through exceptional, compassionate care
  • Collaborate with the clinical team and leadership to support the clinic’s mission
  • Manage a varying caseload while ensuring high-quality service and care

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:

  • DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
  • Active license in good standing to practice in Alabama (or ability to obtain licensure)
  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
