Job summary

Unity House of Troy’s Domestic Violence Program is seeking a compassionate Non-Residential OVS Liaison to provide crisis intervention, support, and referrals to victims and survivors in the community.

This role involves emergency assistance, safety planning, and coordinating with partner agencies. A degree is preferred, with pathways for various education levels, and a commitment to advocacy and client-centered care within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with DV experience preferred.
• Associate’s degree with 2+ years DV experience will be considered.
• HS diploma or GED with 4+ years relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency assistance to victims seeking services.
• Offer crisis intervention, emotional support, and safety planning.
• Complete referrals and linkages to community services.
• Handle scheduling and administrative tasks, including case conferences.
• Complete all contract, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule including some nights/weekends.
• Promote an inclusive and respectful work culture.
