Job summary

The Ponca Tribe of Nebraska seeks a Victim Advocate to coordinate services for victims of family, domestic, and dating violence. You will work with the Laura House DV shelter and partner programs to provide information, emotional support, safety planning, and access to resources for adults and youth.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience working with victims of crime or abuse or related field.
• Bachelor's or AA degree preferred; GED accepted.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate victim services at Laura's House DV shelter and in the community.
• Maintain confidentiality and safety of residents; on-call after hours if needed.
• Provide information, emotional support, safety planning, and resources for victims.
• Collaborate with criminal justice, social services, and behavioral health partners.
• Prepare monthly, semi-annual, and annual reports; track client data.
