Job summary

SiFive’s Design Verification Infrastructure team invites engineers to help build and maintain the Verification Platform that underpins SiFive’s design verification efforts. The role focuses on accelerating verification work through new technologies and collaboration with teams that developed Chisel and CIRCT, bringing capabilities to a broad set of verification challenges.

The ideal candidate will be a systems engineer with experience in Scala, Chisel, CIRCT, and Python, capable of delivering

Qualifications

• Software engineering experience in at least one compiled language and one scripting language.
• Understanding of modern software engineering practices.
• Experience deploying software systems into production environments.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain the Verification Platform to scale Design Verification and other verification activities.
• Develop new functionality in Chisel and CIRCT to support Verification Platform libraries.
• Develop Verification Platform libraries for expressing verification intent in Scala with Chisel, including test harnesses and scoreboards.
• Develop Verification Platform libraries for querying design intent in Python from verification tools and metadata sources.
• Develop Verification Platform tools and methodologies to support end-to-end flows used by Design Verification teams.
• Educate teams on best practices and how to achieve them with the Verification Platform.
