Job summary

SiFive is seeking a Design Verification Infrastructure engineer to join its team in the United States. The role focuses on developing and maintaining the Verification Platform, enabling scalable design verification work across projects.

The candidate will collaborate with Platform Technologies to bring new functionality to bear on verification challenges. The ideal candidate has systems engineering experience, familiarity with Chisel, CIRCT, and MLIR, and a track record of delivering production

Qualifications

Software engineering experience in at least one compiled language and one scripting language.
Understanding of modern software engineering practices
Experience deploying software systems into production environments

Responsibilities

Architect, develop, and maintain the Verification Platform to scale with SiFive's Design Verification and validation activities
Develop new functionality in Chisel and CIRCT to support Verification Platform libraries and tools
Develop Verification Platform libraries for expressing verification intent in Scala with Chisel, including test harnesses and generators
Develop Verification Platform libraries for querying design intent in Python from verification tools and metadata
Develop Verification Platform tools and methodologies to support end-to-end flows used by Design Verification teams
Educate the Design Verification teams on best practices with the Verification Platform
