Job summary

Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office seeks a dedicated Domestic Violence Multidisciplinary Team Coordinator to manage MDT activities, coordinate with police, social services and probation, and analyze data for reporting. The role requires a bachelor’s degree, strong communication, and DV/SA training.

The coordinator will serve as the liaison among agencies, prepare reports, and support program marketing and training initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in sociology, psychology, women’s studies or related field.
• Empathetic listener with knowledge of victims' rights as defined by law.
• Excellent grammar, organizational and communication skills.
• Must be able to work flexible hours.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word applications.
• Three years’ experience with victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence or stalking; 40-hour DV/SA training.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Domestic Violence MDT project and facilitate communication among SAO, social service providers, law enforcement, probation, and community members.
• Analyze data, establish data collection plans, and prepare monthly/quarterly/year-end reports.
• Manage day-to-day MDT operations, meetings, and steering committee communications.
• Assist with grant contracts, deadlines, and cross-agency coordination.
• Support case reviews and share trends with the DV steering committee.
