Job summary

Parents And Children Together in Wailuku, Hawaii seeks a Counselor/Advocate to provide advocacy, crisis counseling, and case management for domestic violence and related victims. Services occur in-office and off-site with supervisory guidance.

Responsibilities include intake assessments, group planning, individual counseling, outreach, crisis intervention, and coordination with partners. Valid driver’s license and daily vehicle access are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
• Two years’ experience with families who have experienced domestic violence, child abuse or substance abuse.
• Valid driver’s license and daily access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide advocacy, crisis counseling, case management and support services.
• Deliver services in the office and other off-site locations as needed.
• Coordinate with program supervisor and external partners.
• Ensure safety of survivors and children and maintain accurate records.
