Job summary

Language Trainers in Washington, DC is seeking a freelance Dutch tutor for 1:1 business language sessions. The position is part-time with flexible scheduling and an emphasis on exam preparation (CNaVT B2 STRT) for an adult student.

Sessions occur in person at a Washington location with a negotiable hourly rate. The ideal candidate should be a native Dutch speaker or hold a relevant teaching qualification, have prior teaching or interpreting experience, and reside within 20 miles of Washington,

Qualifications

• Be a native Dutch speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
• Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter.
• Have a valid work permit/visa.
• Live within 20 miles of the specified location.

Responsibilities

• Deliver face-to-face Dutch language lessons in Washington, DC area.
• Adapt lesson plans and materials to the student’s level (CEFR B2 STRT exam prep).
• Provide timely feedback and track progress with the student.

My current Dutch Level is B1 but I am a highly motivated student and with a strong desire to pass this exam. I am hoping to find the right teacher through your company; however, before moving forward, I want to make sure this coach is the right fit for my needs.
