Job summary

Language Trainers is seeking a native Danish speaker or qualified teacher to provide one-to-one Danish lessons in the Washington, DC area. The role is freelance, part-time, and scheduled weekly, with sessions tailored for a 65+ learner and a beginner level.

The teacher will work without visa sponsorship and must live within about 20 miles of Washington, DC. Session length is two hours, with an office-based setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 Danish language lessons to a senior beginner.
• Plan and adapt lessons to meet learner's needs.
• Maintain flexible schedule with Wednesdays preferred.
• Provide feedback and progress updates to learner or family.

Ideal Candidate

• Be a native Danish speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification
• Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter
• Have a valid work permit/visa
• Live within 20 miles of the specified location
