Job summary

Language Trainers is seeking a freelance Dutch tutor for face-to-face, one-to-one lessons in the Washington, DC area (ZIP 20064). The role is part-time with flexible scheduling and location to match learner needs.

The ideal tutor will be a native Dutch speaker or hold a teaching qualification, with experience in language teaching or interpretation and the ability to work within 20 miles of the target area. Visa/permit sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Native Dutch speaker or holds a relevant teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching a language, translation, or interpretation.
• Valid work permit/visa to work in the United States.
• Live within 20 miles of the specified location.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-to-one Dutch lessons to adults.
• Adapt materials to level and goals, including exam prep.
• Track progress and provide feedback to students.

My current Dutch Level is B1 but I am a highly motivated student and with a strong desire to pass this exam. I am hoping to find the right teacher through your company; however, before moving forward, I want to make sure this coach is the right fit for my needs.

Ideal Candidate

• Be a native Dutch speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification
