Job summary

The State of Connecticut Technical High School System (CTECS) seeks an experienced Durational School Psychologist for Platt Technical High School in Milford. This 35-hour per week, first-shift position runs through June 15, 2027 with a salary tier VS03 as determined by the State Vocational Federation of Teachers.

CTECS emphasizes data-driven supports, MTSS/504 planning, and collaboration with district staff to promote student growth and mental health.

Qualifications

• Experienced school psychologist with secondary level focus.
• Knowledge of MTSS, crisis response, and transition planning.
• Familiarity with IEP/504 processes and collaborative planning.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate school psychology services for students.
• Conduct psycho-educational assessments and provide results to families.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to implement supports.
• Lead 504 planning, MTSS meetings, and crisis team processes.
• Maintain documentation and adhere to professional ethics.
