Summary

A Restaurant Manager is responsible for providing strong, positive leadership to their team to deliver excellent guest experiences, operational excellence, and to help build profitable topline sales of a single restaurant. They oversee the overall operation of the restaurant in accordance with brand standards, Indus policies, procedures, and all applicable laws.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Perform all responsibilities of restaurant team members
  2. Lead team meetings
  3. Train restaurant team members
  4. Ensure execution of Brand standards, recipes, and systems
  5. Foster a guest-focused culture
  6. Review guest feedback and implement improvement plans
  7. Communicate restaurant priorities, goals, and results to the team
  8. Implement new product rollouts, including training, marketing, and sampling
  9. Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by following safety, food safety, and sanitation standards and complying with laws
  10. Control costs to maximize profitability
  11. Conduct periodic inventory
  12. Develop weekly labor schedules to meet guest demand and service standards
  13. Manage supplier and vendor orders
  14. Conduct self-assessments and create action plans
  15. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in accordance with policies and privacy regulations
  16. Ensure the restaurant meets its budget goals
  17. Manage cash over/shorts and ensure proper cash management
  18. Handle daily cash deposits and bank visits
  19. Engage with the Brands Field Operations team as needed
  20. Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop team members
  21. Monitor and review employee performance
  22. Coach team members to improve sales, profitability, and guest satisfaction

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED minimum
  • Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • 2-3 years of experience in the Quick Service Restaurant industry
