Hematologist (Assistant/Associate/Professor)

Summary

The Department of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) and Dan L Duncan Comprehensive Cancer Center (DLDCCC) in Houston, Texas, are recruiting a full-time Classical Hematologist to join the Section of Hematology/Oncology. The candidate should be board certified/eligible in Hematology and eligible for appointment at the rank of Assistant/Associate/Professor. The position involves providing inpatient and outpatient consultations and teaching. We are dedicated to advancing novel clinical trials and support applicants with interdisciplinary research.

BCM is located in the heart of the Texas Medical Center, recognized as one of the nation’s premier academic health science centers, known for excellence in research, education, healthcare, and community service. DLDCCC is an NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center affiliated with major teaching hospitals, including Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center, Ben Taub Hospital, the Michael E DeBakey VA Medical Center, and Texas Children’s Hospital. The outpatient adult cancer center at BSLMC recently moved to a state-of-the-art 470,000 sq ft facility, featuring an 80-chair infusion center, Phase I unit, shared resources, the Human Genome Sequencing Center, the Center for Drug Discovery, and the Therapeutic Innovation Center.
