Base pay range

$20.00/hr - $30.00/hr

Job Summary: The Dump Truck Operator safely operates a dump truck on a variety of construction sites, in all weather conditions.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as dirt, rocks, and other construction materials to and from job sites
• Perform pre-trip inspections to ensure the safe operation of the dump truck
• Load and unload materials using the dump truck's cranks and levers inside the truck to unload materials, supervising the loading of materials onto the truck.
• Knowledge of basic maintenance and repair procedures for dump trucks
• Ability to read and understand maps, job instructions, and safety manuals
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and supervisors
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy materials as required.
  
  
  

Education and Experience:

• Valid Driver's License and Clean Driving Record
• CDL B
• OSHA 10-hour safety training
• ACPA Certified
• DOT medical requirements
• Previous experience operating dump trucks or similar heavy equipment
  
  
  

Physical Requirements:

• Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
• Must be able to push and pull up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to operate machinery for prolonged periods of time
• Must be able to operate equipment in a variety of environments including but not limited to concrete, dirt, fumes, and loud noise levels
• Must be able to work long hours and Saturdays when needed
