Mission

Reeves Construction Company seeks an Experienced Dump Truck Driver for our Savannah, GA team, with a focus on safety excellence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate dump trucks for transporting materials like sand, gravel, and paving materials, or water trucks for site watering.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of tires, lights, brakes, and fluid levels.
• Manage paperwork related to DOT regulations, freight bills, and load tickets.
• Follow detailed instructions, navigate to job sites, and exercise judgment independently.
• Operate vehicles safely in traffic following company policies.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 months related experience, or equivalent.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

• Class B Commercial Driver’s License (no endorsements needed).
• DOT certification required, including physical exam with proof of a valid DOT physical card.

Physical Demands

Must be able to climb, sit, withstand vibrations/noise, perform manual tasks, and lift up to 60 pounds. Vision and hearing requirements are specified.

Work Environment

Exposure to mechanical parts, weather, fumes, noise, and other conditions typical of construction sites.
