Job summary

TS Trucking is seeking a Dump Truck Driver to transport materials safely within a 60-mile radius of designated locations. The role includes pre-trip/post-trip inspections, proper load tarping, and adherence to all safety and regulatory standards.

Dispatched travel stays within a 60-mile radius; drivers are home each evening. The position emphasizes employee-like ownership through ESOP and offers full benefits and growth opportunities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL is required.
• DOT medical certificate required.
• Must pass FMCSA Clearinghouse check and maintain a clean driving record.
• Minimum 1 year of experience performing similar responsibilities in commercial driving.
• Strong attention to safety and adherence to protocols.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tri-axle or tandem dump trucks hauling sand, gravel, crushed rock, or asphalt.
• Adhere to all company, state, and federal trucking laws and regulations, including weight limits, defensive driving, and load tarping.
• Take direction from supervisors regarding assignments, routes, and procedures.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, monitor gauges, and keep the truck clean, reporting major issues to the Supervisor.
• Stay alert to road conditions, job site hazards, and changes in assignments via CB radio.
• Work professionally with coworkers, dispatchers, and site personnel to ensure efficient operations and a collaborative work environment.
• Accurately complete and submit daily logs, truck reports, and other required documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Be prepared to operate in various weather conditions while ensuring safe transport of materials.
• Perform additional tasks as needed, including keeping the truck bed clean.
