Job summary

C.W. Roberts Contracting, Inc. (CWR) is seeking a Dump Truck Driver for our local operations. You will perform pre-trip inspections, load and transport materials, and ensure safe delivery to job sites in accordance with DOT regulations.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of verifiable experience, a valid Florida CDL (Class A or B, tanker endorsement preferred), and a current medical card. We offer competitive pay and benefits and an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of verifiable work experience.
• Valid Florida CDL Driver’s license – Class A or B (tanker endorsement preferred).
• Familiar with FMCSR.
• Current medical card.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work days, nights, or weekends as needed.
• Drug testing and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip inspections.
• Drive to asphalt plant to pick up materials and deliver to job site.
• Load and transport materials safely and efficiently.
• Comply with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Complete trip tickets and maintain receipts.
• Submit required paperwork and assist crew as needed.
• Perform minor maintenance as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

C.W. Roberts Contracting, Inc. (CWR) is a growing road construction company. We are seeking to fill a Dump Truck Driver position for our local operations.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Will perform a pre-trip inspection
• Report any problems or malfunctions
• Will drive to asphalt plan to pick up materials to be delivered to the job site
• Must be able to load and transport material to the assigned destination in a safe and efficient manner
• Comply with all company, DOT, Federal, State, and local safety regulations
• Will complete a trip ticket for each move, keep receipt of materials hauled, and turn in tickets promptly
• Complete all required paperwork and turn it in as required
• Able to perform minor maintenance and repairs as needed
• Will assist crew as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of verifiable work experience required
