As a Truck Driver, you willoperatevarious trucks—to safely transport dirt, aggregate, asphalt, and equipment to multiple job sites.You’llalso contribute to our yard operations, managingstockpilesand moving materials as needed. Drive trucks safely and professionally on highways, local roads, job sites, and in the yard.
Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections,maintainingthorough DOT-compliant documentation.
Check vital vehicle functions (fluid levels, tires, lights, controls) foroptimaloperation.
Attach and detach a variety of trailers, including pup, belly dump, side dump, transfer, tilt/transport, as needed.
Keep detailed delivery logs and complete billing paperwork accurately.
Load and unload equipment and materials with care and efficiency.
Monitor gauges and controls throughout vehicle operation.
Maintain daily mileage logs and ensure clean, orderly vehicles.
Use truck tarps to cover loads whenrequired.
Uphold product quality standards andassistwith minor maintenance; reportmajor issuesfor prompt resolution.
Follow all company safety protocols and report any concerns to leadership.
Obey traffic laws and follow dispatch instructions precisely.
Be a team player, support co-workersand contribute to a positive work environment.
Commit to regular, dependable attendance and flexibility with schedules and assigned duties.
High school diploma or GEDrequired.
CDL A or B licenserequiredbased on position applyingfor;Hazmat and Tanker endorsements preferred.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in dump/tractor/trailer driving preferred, but motivated candidates willing to learn are welcome training provided!
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background checks.
MVR must meet company and DOT standards.
Strict commitment to safety and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Professional, courteous attitude towards colleagues, supervisors, and the public.
Willingness to travel and work nights/weekends when necessary.
Prepared to wear PPE per OSHA/MSHA safety protocols (Face Shield, Safety Shoes, Coveralls, etc.).
Expertisein safe operation of trucks and equipment under varied conditions.
Ability to perform basic math and keepaccuraterecords.
Strong communicationskills—verbal and written.
Detail-oriented with excellent judgment and problem-solving abilities.
Experience securing heavy equipment and oversized loads is a plus.
Ability to interact professionally with customers, collect payments, andassistwith problem resolution.
Ability to climb, stoop, bend, squat, lift (up to 50lbsunassisted), stretch, and drive for extended periods.
Frequent climbing in/out of trucks (up to 30 times/day).
Stand, walk, balance, kneel, crawl, and manipulate controls as needed.
Vision abilities (corrected)includingclose, distance, peripheral, depth, and focus.
Work in all weather conditions and occasionally around fumes, chemicals, loud noise, and moving equipment.
