Job summary

Penn Construction is seeking a dependable Dump Truck Driver to support our Havertown-based operations and projects in the Philadelphia area. You will safely operate dump trucks, transport materials, and ensure timely pickups and deliveries to job sites.

This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule (6:00 am–2:30 pm), a collaborative team environment, and opportunities for growth within a growing general contractor.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience operating a dump truck preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and meet physical demands.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate dump trucks to transport materials and dumpsters.
• Pick up and deliver construction materials and supplies.
• Keep the truck clean and loads secured.
• Communicate with project managers, site supervisors, and suppliers for timely deliveries.
• Follow DOT, safety regulations; assist with general labor on-site when needed.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles, including dump trucks, to transport materials and dumpsters to and from job sites.
• Pick up and deliver construction materials, equipment, and supplies as directed.
• Maintain a clean and organized truck, ensuring all loads are properly secured.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, site supervisors, and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Follow all DOT, company, and safety regulations while on the road and at job sites.
• Assist with general labor duties on-site when needed.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance needs.
