Job summary

Eaves Construction in Demopolis, AL is seeking a Tri-Axle Dump Truck Driver to haul dirt, sand, gravel, rock and other earth materials for our projects. This is a local position with you going home each night.

The role requires a valid Class B CDL, at least two years of CDL driving experience, a current DOT medical card, and a commitment to safety, proper load distribution, and accurate records.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL required.
• Minimum 2 years of CDL driving experience.
• Current DOT medical card.
• Ability to perform daily truck inspections.
• Ability to operate a tri-axle dump truck safely.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Operate a tri-axle dump truck to transport and deliver materials.
• Coordinate with foremen, operators, and customers on pickup locations, delivery instructions, and jobsite access.
• Position the truck safely for loading and unloading, accounting for ground conditions, overhead obstructions, and nearby workers or equipment.
• Monitor loads for proper distribution and use tarps as needed to prevent material loss during transport.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and promptly report mechanical issues, damage, or maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate load tickets, delivery records, and time records.
• Keep the truck cab clean and remove material buildup from the truck bed as needed.
• Follow company safety procedures, traffic laws, and jobsite rules.
• Represent Eaves Construction professionally when working with customers, suppliers, and the public.

Tri-Axle Dump Truck Driver

Eaves Construction’s Tri-Axle Dump Truck Drivers haul dirt, sand, gravel, rock, and other earth materials for company construction projects and customer deliveries. Materials, routes, and delivery locations vary based on the job and customer needs. This is a local driving position, with drivers home every night.

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate a tri-axle dump truck to transport and deliver materials safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate with foremen, equipment operators, and customers regarding pickup locations, delivery instructions, and jobsite access.
• Position the truck safely for loading and unloading, accounting for ground conditions, overhead obstructions, and nearby workers or equipment.

• Ability to follow instructions, communicate clearly, and accurately complete load tickets, delivery records, and time records.
