Job summary

McGill Environmental Systems is seeking a CDL A Driver to support our compost manufacturing and transportation operations. You will transport organic materials and finished compost between customer locations and company facilities, working on local and regional routes.

This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and customer service. Home daily with daily pay option and full benefits, including health, dental, vision, and a 401(k) match, plus PTO and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with a safe driving record.
• Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A vehicles including tractor-trailers, dump trailers, roll-offs, and walking floor trailers.
• Transport organic materials, yard waste, and finished compost products.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Complete required DOT logs, inspection reports, and load documentation.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety standards.
• Maintain communication with dispatch and operations teams.
• Ensure loads are secured and transported safely.
• Assist with loading and unloading activities when needed.
• Deliver excellent customer service at all locations.

**Qualifications**

• Valid Class A CDL
• Safe driving record

**Preferred Qualifications**
