Job summary

Komatsu is seeking a hands-on associate to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient plant environment. You will operate forklifts, hoists, cranes, steam cleaners, sandblasters, and band saws to move and prep parts, supporting multiple departments as needed.

Responsibilities include daily housekeeping, equipment operation, safety compliance, and basic maintenance tasks. Valid driver's license and willingness to follow safety protocols are required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating industrial equipment and moving materials safely.
• Familiar with safety procedures and Haz-Com basics.
• Ability to perform general labor tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant cleanliness and order, empty trash cans.
• Move materials using forklift, hoist, and crane.
• Operate steam cleaner, parts washer, sandblaster, and grinder.
• Operate band saw and prepare parts for transport.
• Support other departments and follow safety rules.

Position Summary: Maintains the plant in a clean and orderly condition, empties trash cans, cleans equipment, moves material, sweeps and performs other inter-departmental functions (painting, sandblasting, steam cleaning).

Tools and

Equipment: Hoist, crane, fork truck, steam cleaner, sandblaster, paint booth, grinder, parts washer, tape, vehicle, band saw,etc.

Sample Work Procedure:

• Maintains plant in a clean and orderly condition by sweeping floors and emptying trash containers.
• Periodicallyoperatesforktruckand hoists to move material.
• Operates steam cleaner to clean parts and equipment.
• Operates parts washer to clean parts and equipment.
• Operates sandblaster to remove undesired surface finishes.
• Operates band saw
• Fills up gas bottles for fork trucks
• Drives pick-uptruckor car for local pick-up of miscellaneous supplies.
• Must obey all safety rules associated with the equipmentoperated.
• Performs other labor functions as directed.
