Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Successful completion of an apprenticeship or a three-year, in-company training program
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record
• Ability to complete sheet metal projects with accuracy and precision
• Ability to safely use machinery and tools involved in sheet metal work
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Great communication skills
• Certification is preferred

We’re offering this position a competitive wage of $42 - $54 per hour. Benefits include health, dental, vision, a 401(k) plan with company match, generous paid time off (starting with 2 weeks, up to 4 weeks), sick time, profit-sharing bonuses paid quarterly, and a $1000 bonus after 30 days.

A Day in the Life of a Ductwork Installer - Sheet Metal Fabricator

This role typically works from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday. You will oversee a team of skilled ductwork installers, select appropriate materials, and cut, bend, and shape sheet metal with precision. Your responsibilities include measuring, cutting, welding, riveting, soldering, and securing seams using various techniques. You will utilize modern machinery and software, and maintain organized project records.
