Mechanical Systems Company LLC, a well-established mechanical and plumbing contractor in Memphis, TN, is seeking an experienced sheet metal professional to join our fabrication shop. This full-time role features a steady workflow, safety-first culture, and real opportunities for advancement as we expand our operations.

You will fabricate HVAC ductwork, measure, cut, bend, and assemble materials, operate shop machinery, and help maintain high quality while meeting production goals.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of HVAC ductwork or sheet metal fabrication experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Experience using forklifts and fabrication equipment.
• Welding experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate HVAC ductwork and related sheet metal components.
• Measure, cut, bend, and assemble materials to specification.
• Operate fabrication equipment, including rollers, brakes, and other shop machinery.
• Assemble and seal duct sections for commercial HVAC systems.
• Maintain high-quality standards while meeting production goals.
• Follow all safety procedures and keep the shop organized.

$26 - $40 per hour, depending on experience

Memphis, TN | Full-Time

Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM | Overtime opportunities available

What We're Looking For

• At least 2 years of HVAC ductwork or sheet metal fabrication experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Experience using forklifts and fabrication equipment
• Welding experience is helpful, but not required
• Valid driver's license with an insurable record
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in a ventilated, non-air-conditioned shop
• Commitment to safety and dependable attendance
