Job summary

Sunstall Inc. is seeking a dependable HVAC Duct Fabricator to join our shop team in Logan, UT. The role involves fabricating, assembling, and preparing ductwork and sheetmetal components for installation. Must be mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable with hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.

The ideal candidate will read drawings, measure accurately, and contribute to a clean, safe work environment while meeting production goals and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in HVAC, sheetmetal, duct fabrication, construction or manufacturing is preferred.
• Ability to read tape measures and perform basic measurements.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills.
• Comfort using hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read and follow drawings and instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to safely lift and move ductwork and materials.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble HVAC ductwork and sheetmetal components per drawings and specs.
• Measure, mark, cut, bend, and assemble ductwork.
• Build duct fittings including elbows and transitions.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, brakes, shears, plasma cutters and shop equipment.
• Install duct liner, insulation, sealants, fasteners and other materials as needed.
• Inspect ductwork for accuracy and quality.
• Prepare, label, organize and load ductwork for delivery to sites.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe shop environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Assist with other shop and fabrication duties as needed.
