Job summary

Brown-Heating- is seeking an Air Duct Cleaning Tech to provide air duct cleaning services for customers' homes. You will evaluate indoor air quality and educate customers on products (furnace filters, etc.) to improve overall air quality.

You will use hand and power tools, operate company vehicles, follow safety rules, and document service details. The role requires 1+ year duct cleaning experience, a valid Alabama driver's license, a clean driving record, and availability Monday–Friday with

Responsibilities

• Speak professionally with customers, team members, and vendors.
• Work a flexible schedule and maintain attendance based on business needs.
• Address and resolve customer concerns.
• Clean and sanitize Air Ducts & Dryer Vents.
• Explain additional services to fit customer needs.
• Return all equipment to the truck and secure it for transport to next appointment.
• Assist the Manager in training and development of new duct cleaners.
• Operate company vehicles and follow all state and federal laws; maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Follow safety instructions; safety training provided and strictly followed.
• Operate hand and power tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment used in the trade.
• Submit customer invoices via company I Pad with proper documentation.

Overview

Job Summary:

The Air Duct Cleaning Tech is responsible for providing air duct cleaning services to customers homes.They evaluate the work area's air quality and educate the customer on appropriate products (furnace filters, etc.) for the overall improvement of indoor air quality.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ability to speak and maintain professionalism to customers, team members, and vendors.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and maintain attendance based on business needs.
• Ensure new/returning customers’ concerns are addressed and handled appropriately.
• Cleans and sanitizes Air Ducts & Dryer Vents.
• Explains & educates additional services to customers that are solutions to fit their needs.
• Returns all equipment to the truck and secures it for trip to next assigned appointment.
• Assists the Manager in formal training and development of new duct cleaners.
• Operating company vehicles and will be expected to follow all state and federal laws, as well as, maintaining the cleanliness and routine maintenance of the vehicle.
• Safety responsibilities & requirements will be provided in training and no tolerance will be accepted for the disregard of safety instructions.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools, meters, hand tools, and all other test equipment utilized in the trade.
• Submit customer invoices via company I Pad correctly documenting customer equipment information, diagnostic and all recommended repairs.

Job Qualifications:

Physical Work Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to hear, stand, move, operate with hands and arms, and lift up to 75 pounds.

The employee is regularly required to use hands to operate or feel objects, tools or controls, communicate, distinguish or identify, adjust or focus.

Activities involve attics and crawl spaces, being around moving parts and equipment, exposure to changes in heat temperature and humidity occur daily.

Pay/Hours

Pay: Piece Pay ($55,000-$65,000)

Hours: Monday - Friday (Occasional Weekends)

Hours: 7:00am-5:00pm (flexible start and end times based upon business needs)
