Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking an entry-level HVAC helper to assist with installation and duct cleaning in Merrifield, VA. You will work under supervision to install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment, prepare materials, and maintain a clean, safe job site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with HVAC training preferred.
• 0–2 years HVAC experience with technical training certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to operate or learn HVAC tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist installation of HVAC equipment per company requirements and specs.
• Assist in cleaning ducts and fittings.
• Deliver and remove equipment as needed.
• Maintain company property, vehicles and tools.

Welcome!Performs duct cleaning and related services to improve indoor air quality for customers.Location Address: 8421 Hilltop Rd, Fairfax, VA 22031Key Responsibilities:Assists with the installation of heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment, as well as accessories, in accordance with company requirements and manufacturer specificationsAssists in the cleaning of ducts and duct fittingsPerforms duties so as to deliver of excellent customer service and sustain high levels of customer satisfactionAssists in the delivery and removal of equipment needed to complete the installation workAssists in ensuring company property, vehicles, and tools are being properly used, maintained, and properly accounted forAs needed or required, completes all paperwork in a neat, accurate, thorough, and timely mannerRepresents the company professionally, honestly, and ethically in all business matters and concernsResponsible installation vehicle clean and neat both inside and outside in keeping with the company’s professional imagePerforms similar/other duties as needed or assignedRegular, reliable attendanceQualifications:High school diploma or GED with additional training and 0 to 2 years’ experience in HVAC with technical training certification preferredMust possess all valid licensing or certification as required by federal, state, provincial, or local governmental laws or regulations for the geographical work areaBasic knowledge of the fundamentals of the operational functionality of heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment as well as related accessoriesMechanical aptitude and the ability to operate, or learn to operate, all necessary tools and equipmentEffective communication skills to communicate with customer and to provide excellent customer serviceEffective and efficient time-management and organizational skillsValid driver’s license with acceptable driving recordAvailable to work flexible hours and on-call shifts as neededAbility to stand and walk and to climb ladders and attic stairs and to maneuver in attics, basements, and crawl spaces to access HVAC units.
