Job summary

Tundra Technical Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Duck Creek Business Analyst with strong Property Casualty insurance domain expertise to analyze, design and implement Duck Creek solutions. You will work with business stakeholders, product owners, architects and developers to translate business requirements into scalable Duck Creek platform solutions.

Qualifications

Strong experience as a Business Analyst in the Insurance industry.
Hands-on experience with Duck Creek Policy Administration, Billing or Claims.
Knowledge of Property Casualty (PC) Insurance processes.
Experience in requirements elicitation, gap analysis and documentation.
Expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience creating user stories, process flows and acceptance criteria.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps or similar Agile management tools.

Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, document and validate business and functional requirements.
Conduct workshops and requirement discovery sessions with business stakeholders.
Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and user stories.
Support the implementation of Duck Creek Policy, Billing and Claims modules.
Create process flows, use cases, business rules and requirements documentation.
Collaborate with Product Owners and development teams during Agile delivery cycles.
Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.
Support testing activities including SIT/UAT and defect management.
Analyze system impacts and identify process improvement opportunities.
Facilitate communication between business users and technical teams.
Ensure solutions align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Provide production support and assist with post-implementation enhancements.
