Job summary

Olympus Property is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician to support our service and office teams in property maintenance and repairs across our communities.

You will handle plumbing, carpentry, painting, appliance repair, and HVAC tasks, with potential emergencies after hours. The role requires 2+ years of maintenance experience and knowledge of HVAC systems or an EPA/HVAC license, along with a strong reliability for emergencies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of commercial, residential, or apartment maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and/or an EPA/HVAC license.
• Willing to be available for emergencies as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance requests with knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, painting, appliance repair, etc.
• Preventative maintenance and diagnosis on HVAC units, replacing filters and cleaning coils
• Repair and replace kitchen appliances, refrigerators, stoves, washers, dryers, ovens, microwaves
• Minor to moderate plumbing repairs, replacements, and installation
• Repair or replace sink/shower/toilet fixtures
• Repair or replace electrical fixtures and switches
• Lock changes and door hardware replacement
• Operate various tools and maintain maintenance shop and inventory
• Track service requests in the maintenance software
• Assist in grounds, common areas, and pool upkeep
• Coordinate with Lead Maintenance Technician on priorities
• Be available for emergency maintenance requests

The Maintenance Technician will work alongside the service team and office teams to ensure that all the repair and maintenance of property facilities and apartment homes meet or exceeds standards.

• Perform maintenance requests with knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, painting, appliance repair, etc.
• Preventative maintenance and diagnosis on HVAC units, replacing filters, and cleaning coils
• Repair and replace furnished kitchen appliances, refrigerators, stoves, washers and dryers, ovens, and microwaves
• Minor to moderate-level plumbing repairs, replacements, and installation
• Repair or replace sink/shower/toilet fixtures
• Repair or replace electrical fixtures and switches
• Lock changes, lockouts, and replace doors, doorknobs, and lock systems
• Operate various equipment, hand tools, and power tools
• Upkeep and organization of maintenance shop and inventory
• Track service requests and maintenance work performed through software systems
• Assist in maintaining the grounds, interior and exterior common areas, and pools
• Work closely with Lead Maintenance Technician on daily and weekly priorities
• Available as needed for emergency maintenance requests

Essential Needs for The Brodie:

• Available Full-time, Monday – Friday from 9 AM – 6 PM (hours may vary slightly)
• Minimum of 2 years of commercial, residential, or apartment Maintenance experience
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and/or an EPA/HVAC license
• Available for emergencies as needed

Initial pay range (based on location, experience, etc.): $26-$27/per hour

Eligible team members receive monthly and quarterly bonuses!
