Position Description: Location: Norcross/Cumming

Title: Dual Site | Assistant Community Manager - Norcross/Cumming

Pay: $20-$21/hour

About us: Summerfield Property Management (SPM) is a growing property management firm dedicated to providing exceptional living experiences for our residents. We manage a diverse portfolio of residential properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and safe for all residents. As we expand our reach, we are seeking talented individuals to join our team and help us maintain the highest standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining accurate records; updating daily all rents, deposits, and application fees received. Issuing notices when necessary (e.g., late payments, eviction notices, returned check memos).
  • Understanding financial goals and assisting in budget formulation.
  • Resolving concerns and requests promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Distributing all community-issued notices (e.g., bad weather, emergency).
  • Developing and implementing retention programs (e.g., functions, promotions, newsletters).
  • Utilizing marketing strategies to attract prospective residents.
  • Inspecting the community grounds, reporting service needs, and inspecting move-outs and vacancies as requested.
  • Complying with all federal and local fair housing regulations.
  • Greeting prospective clients, showing the community, and performing leasing duties.
  • Keeping daily records of lease renewals and terminations.
  • Handling incoming calls from prospective residents, current residents, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Updating reports related to move-outs, activity, etc., and providing information to the Community Director.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of experience in residential community management.
  • Experience using property management systems like Yardi, AvidXchange, Net Vendor, and Rent Café.
  • Basic computer hardware knowledge, including Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's license and automobile insurance; personal transportation may be used.
  • Pre-employment drug test and background check required.
