Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct all business in accordance with Summerfield's policies and procedures, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, OSHA, and all other applicable laws.
• Satisfy service requests per work order; perform tasks at convenient times, ensuring thorough cleanup.
• Regularly inspect grounds, buildings, plumbing, electrical fixtures, appliances, and major equipment; report repairs to the Community Director.
• Be available for emergency situations; be familiar with power, water, and gas turnoffs, clean-out traps, fire extinguishers, and fire hydrants; know emergency contact numbers.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Instruct staff on proper use of equipment and safety guidelines.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Full-time maintenance experience; familiarity with electricity, plumbing, carpentry; working knowledge of HVAC systems and appliances.
• Work hours: 40 hours/week with flexible scheduling, including weekends.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Summerfield software applications.
• Pre-employment drug test and background check required.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance; may need to use personal transportation.
