A leading third-party property management company seeks a full-time Maintenance Technician for a dual-site affordable housing property in Los Angeles. The role involves maintaining apartment homes and grounds, performing repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Candidates should have at least one year of experience in property management, a high school diploma, and relevant skills in maintenance and customer service.
Multifamily Property Management
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of apartment homes, buildings, and grounds. Responsibilities include repairing flooring, drywall, appliances; troubleshooting plumbing, electrical, safety, security systems, HVAC; painting; and cleaning. All duties must comply with company policies and safety protocols, supporting client expectations within the operating budget.
Position includes a studio unit and requires driving a site-owned golf cart, necessitating a valid unrestricted U.S. Driver's License.
Pay: $26 - $28 per hour
Minimum 1 year experience in similar roles, preferably in residential property management or related fields. Education requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; technical or CAMT certification preferred. Must be able to wear a respirator and be medically cleared for duty. Proficiency in English and possibly providing own tools are required.
