Multifamily Property Management

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining apartment homes, buildings, and grounds. Duties include repairing flooring, drywall, appliances; troubleshooting plumbing, electrical, safety, security, HVAC systems; painting; and cleaning. All tasks must comply with company policies and safety protocols, supporting client expectations within the operating budget.

Duties and Responsibilities
Client Relations
  • Implement owner philosophies and meet client expectations.
General Maintenance
  • Follow maintenance programs for safety and economy.
  • Perform inspections, assist with groundskeeping, and serve as on-call emergency maintenance.
Unit Turnover
  • Inspect and repair vacant units, coordinate painting, and appliance changes to ensure readiness.
Equipment and Systems Maintenance
  • Maintain property equipment, tools, and supplies; keep maintenance areas organized and secure.
Inspections
  • Prepare properties for inspections like NSPIRE, MOR, TCAC, and CALFHA, ensuring compliance and collaboration with stakeholders.
Other Responsibilities
  • Enforce community rules, comply with Fair Housing laws, and uphold professional image and communication standards.
Minimum Qualifications
  • At least 1 year experience in property management, hotel, facilities, or construction maintenance.
  • High School diploma or equivalent; technical training or CAMT certification preferred.
  • Ability to wear a respirator and pass medical fitness assessments.
  • Proficiency in English, and may need to provide own tools.
Skills and Attributes
