Job summary

Lofton Security Service, Inc. is seeking a motivated Order Selector in Jersey Village, NW Houston. The role splits time between operating a forklift and manually carting orders to ensure accurate selection and preparation for shipment.

Responsibilities include selecting orders from shelves, safely moving pallets with a forklift, keeping work areas organized, and meeting daily production goals while adhering to safety guidelines. High school diploma preferred; forklift certification a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be comfortable working with both manual carting and forklift duties.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and move products up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Prior forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick products from shelves using a cart per the order sheet.
• Safely operate a forklift to move pallets and load/unload items.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Handle products to prevent damage during selection and transport.
• Meet daily production and quality goals for order selection.
• Follow safety protocols for carting and forklift operation.
• Communicate with teammates and supervisors to resolve issues.
• Perform other warehouse tasks as needed.
