Seattle Hebrew Academy's Early Childhood program is seeking a warm, experienced educator to serve as a dual role Pre-K Lead Teacher and Early Childhood Judaic Teacher. You will lead the Pre-K classroom while supporting Judaic learning across EC ages 1–5.

The role emphasizes play-based, developmentally appropriate practice, strong family connections, and collaboration with the teaching team; experience in Jewish education preferred.

Formación

• Experience working with young children (Pre-K experience preferred).
• Strong understanding of early childhood development.
• Background in Jewish education, Judaic studies, or relevant experience.
• Ability to create engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
• Warm, patient, and relationship-focused approach.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a developmentally appropriate Pre-K classroom and foster social-emotional growth.
• Support kindergarten readiness with early literacy, math, and SEL activities.
• Plan and implement play-based, process-oriented curriculum.
• Build strong relationships with children and families; collaborate with staff.
• Plan age-appropriate Judaic experiences across EC classrooms and Hebrew language introduction.
• Collaborate with teachers to integrate Judaic learning into the broader curriculum.
