Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Multi-Modality Technologist at Marcum & Wallace Hospital. The role performs combinations of imaging modalities, prepares patients, and operates equipment while ensuring safety, accuracy, and timely delivery of images for physician interpretation.

The candidate should have ARRT RDMS CNMT certifications and at least 1 year in healthcare, with training in EPIC EHR, PACS, and RIS. On-site work with on-call responsibilities and a strong emphasis on patient-centered care are

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in radiologic technology or related program; ARRT or equivalent certification preferred.
• Certification and Registration with ARRT or RDMS or CNMT is required.
• 1 year of experience in healthcare environment is preferred.
• Epic EHR, PACS and RIS experience or training is preferred.
• Must obtain required additional certifications within 12 months where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties for any two imaging modalities (e.g., XR, CT, MRI).
• Operates imaging equipment and adheres to approved protocols.
• Collects patient history and lab data as needed for imaging procedures.
• Ensures radiation safety and patient protection throughout procedures.
• Verifies patient identity and procedure requested; assists with venipuncture when required.
• Interprets data and documents findings for the licensed practitioner.
