Job summary

The MetroHealth System in Cleveland Heights is seeking a Radiology Specialty Tech I to join our Radiology Department. You will gain exposure to CT and X-Ray across a multi-modality setting, with cross-training opportunities and a focus on patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include producing quality CT/XR images, coordinating scheduling for inpatients and outpatients, and educating patients about procedures. Must have ARRT credentials and Ohio license.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtain within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-Ray procedures with diverse modalities.
• Produce high-quality CT/XR images across settings.
• Schedule and coordinate patient care for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients about procedures, equipment and exams.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and maintain composure under pressure.
• Collaborate with CT/XR team and other care providers.
